Japan's PV Module Shipments Hike
In the first half of 2023, Japan's PV module shipments saw a significant increase, reaching 3.4 GW. This growth is attributed to the country's efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
The country's renewable energy goals have driven demand for PV modules, with the majority of shipments going towards residential and commercial installations.
According to a report by the Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association, the country's PV market is expected to continue growing, with shipments projected to reach 6.5 GW by the end of the year.
“The Japanese PV market is showing strong growth, driven by government policies and increasing consumer awareness of the benefits of renewable energy,” said a spokesperson for the Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association.
