Dennis Locorriere served as lead vocalist and guitarist, Ray Sawyer leading on many tracks, Clive Davis helped secure a CBS Records deal, advancing their international reach. Known for stage antics and satirical edge, the group adopted the shorthand name Dr. Hook from 1975 onward, keeping up releases and tours into the late 1970s and beyond.
