Danielle Deadwyler is an American actress known for her performances in various films. She gained recognition for her leading role in Till (2022), portraying Mamie Till, for which she received nominations for BAFTA and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards. Deadwyler also starred in The Harder They Fall (2021), and received a SAG nomination for her role in The Piano Lesson (2024). Her other notable projects include starring roles in Parallel (2024) and I Saw the TV Glow (2024 Sundance premiere), as well as appearing in The Saviors and Otis & Zelma. Deadwyler will be joining HBO's Rooster in 2025, and is set to lead in a lead role for a The X-Files reboot in 2026, produced by a well-known production company.
