Crews successfully rescued a hiker stranded on a 40-foot cliff at Saddle Mountain Saturday night. The Cannon Beach Fire District reported the operation.
According to officials, the hiker became stuck on the cliff and required assistance to safely return to solid ground. Rescue teams responded quickly to the scene and managed to bring the individual down without injury.
"The rescue team acted swiftly to ensure the hiker's safety and prevent any harm," said a spokesperson for Cannon Beach Fire District.
