Aussie golf rising star aims to follow in Tiger Woods' footsteps

Minjee Lee is the latest young golfer to take the world by storm, with the Australian starlet aiming to follow in the footsteps of golfing greats including Tiger Woods.

At just 21 years old, Lee is already a multiple major winner and is fast becoming a household name around the world.

"I look up to Tiger Woods, he's an amazing golfer and an even more amazing person," Lee said.

"He's had an incredible career and has won so many times, it's amazing to see what he's achieved.

"But I also look up to other greats like Annika Sorenstam and Se Ri Pak, they're all incredible female golfers who have paved the way for me and other women in the sport.

"I hope to be able to achieve similar things to them and make a lasting impact on the sport.

Lee's impressive career has seen her win multiple times on the LPGA Tour, including a major victory at the 2019 Evian Championship.

And with her sights firmly set on further success, Lee is confident that she can continue to push herself to new heights.

"I'm really proud of what I've achieved so far, but I know that there's still so much more to come," Lee said.

"I'm always striving to improve and get better, and I know that if I keep working hard and believing in myself, I can achieve anything I set my mind to.

"I'm excited to see what the future holds and I'm looking forward to continuing to push myself to new heights.
