Owensboro Catholic Has Rematch
After a 22-0 season, Owensboro Catholic will have a rematch in the first round of the 3A state playoffs against Dayton.
The final score was Owensboro Catholic 31, Dayton 7.
Here's how Owensboro Catholic's head coach, Danny Combs, described the game:
"We knew coming in it was going to be a tough ball game. We've been saying all year that we're not the same team that we were last year, and I think we proved that tonight."
Owensboro Catholic will host Allen County-Scottsville in the first round of the playoffs on Nov. 12.
