Three-way tie for first in men's 400m freestyle
It's the first time in history that three swimmers have shared the top spot in the men's 400m freestyle at the world championships.
The swimmers, who remain nameless, all finished with the same time of 3:42.44.
"It was a tough heat," said one of the swimmers. "But I'm just happy to have made it to the final."
The three-way tie is a surprise, but not entirely unexpected. The men's 400m freestyle has been one of the most competitive events at the world championships in recent years.
"I was thinking it was going to be a one-two finish, but then I saw the third guy coming up," said another swimmer. "It was a nice surprise."
