Neighbours in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, are in shock after two residents won the National Lottery jackpot in the space of just a few days.
The first win came last Saturday when a local man, who wishes to remain anonymous, scooped the £1m prize.
"I've never played the lottery in my life," he said.
And just a few days later, a £4m prize was won by another resident in the same town – with his neighbour collecting the cheque.
The lucky neighbour, who works at the local hospital, said he felt like he was "on cloud nine" when he found out he had won.
He said: "I was just getting out of the shower and checking my phone when I saw the news. I couldn't believe it. I had to read it three times before it sank in.
"I've been playing the lottery for years, but I've never won anything. I've always dreamed of winning big, but I've never thought it would actually happen to me.
"I'm still in shock, but I'm trying to stay calm and enjoy the moment. I'm not sure what I'll do with the money yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something good.
"I just want to thank Camelot for the prize and to remind everyone to always check their tickets!
"I'm just a normal bloke from Kidderminster who got lucky. I'm not sure what the future holds, but I'm excited to find out.
