NDP wins elections in St Vincent
The New Democratic Party (NDP) has won the general elections in St Vincent and the Grenadines, according to the preliminary results announced by the Electoral Office on March 11, 2023.
NDP's leader, Dr. Godwin Friday, has won the election, securing 8 seats out of 15.
The results of the election show a close contest between the NDP and the Unity Labour Party (ULP), with the NDP securing 8 seats, ULP securing 7 seats, and 1 seat going to an independent candidate.
