As we head into a new year, many of us are making resolutions to improve our health, our relationships, or our careers. But what about making an effort to improve our civic engagement?
We live in a democracy, after all, and participating in the democratic process is crucial to shaping the future of our country.
But despite the importance of civic engagement, many of us struggle to find the time or motivation to get involved.
So, what can we do to make a difference? Here are a few ideas:
As Barack Obama once said, "Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek."
